April 7
Arrival
A list of hotels near the National Gallery is attached. Please make your reservations at one of these hotels.
Many participants have said that they will arrive late in the evening on April 7. For those who arrive earlier and would like to join the core team at a no-host gathering for a glass of wine (or whatever), we will meet from 6:30 pm at the National Gallery Cafe.
April 8 and 9
The agenda is attached.
Please note the morning start times. The Gallery opens it doors at 10:00 am.
The conference room where we are meeting is located on Level 1 in the Sainsbury Wing of the National Gallery, up half the flight of stairs on your right as you enter.
We understand you are all busy people, so morning breaks as well as the lunch break are meant to give you time during the day for catching up email and phone calls.
Reimbursement
A reimbursement form and a Yale vendor form are attached. The Yale vendor form should be returned as soon as possible and the expense report after the meeting with all original receipts to:

Please Read
The meetings will focus on the professional expertise that you bring; not on technology, not on standards, not on comparative user interface issues. You will see from the agenda that the focus will be on the processes of conservation. Consequently there is not a lot of preparation other than what you've done in your professional career. I think we all understand the values inherent in this exercise, but so that we have a shared starting point, please read the attached articles if you haven't done so already.
